Effective Cheater Ban in CSGO - Case Study

The article discusses an innovative approach to combating cheaters in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) using a tool called IdentityLogger. The authors were determined to identify and eliminate cheaters who ruin the experience for honest players. IdentityLogger monitors player behavior patterns by analyzing their movements and decision-making within the game. With this data, the team was able to develop effective strategies for detecting cheating. This tool not only contributed to improving security in the game but also increased the satisfaction of honest players who could enjoy a slightly fairer gaming environment. The findings of this project can be applied across a wide range of online games, further contributing to the fight against cheaters in the future.
