No more free IPv4 addresses on AWS!
In the latest AWS blog post, a new charge for public IPv4 addresses was discussed. AWS has decided to implement changes to the billing concerning the use of public IP addresses in order to help users understand and manage costs better. IPv4 addresses are crucial in today’s internet landscape, but the resources are limited. As a result, AWS is introducing a billing system aimed at optimizing the allocation and usage of these addresses. Users will have access to new tools that will allow them to see usage statistics for public IP addresses along with associated costs, making it easier to manage expenses. These changes aim to improve efficiency and better address customer needs in the evolving technological landscape.
