The results of the first speed tests on Starlink satellite connections (from SpaceX) are already available

The article discusses the outcomes of the beta tests for SpaceX's Starlink project, which aims to provide internet access via satellites. The tests showed that download speeds could reach up to 60 Mbps, indicating that users can enjoy internet services comparable to traditional broadband connections. One of the key highlights of this project is the low latency recorded during the tests, which was as low as 31 ms. This is especially important for users relying on applications that require low latency, such as online gaming or live video streaming. SpaceX plans to continue developing Starlink by increasing the satellite count and enhancing the technology, which may yield even better results in the future. This technology has the potential to revolutionize internet access, especially in rural and hard-to-reach areas where traditional connections are limited or unavailable.
