ZINC - a low-budget alternative to ElasticSearch
Zinc is a modern, lightweight HTTP server that is fast and user-friendly, created by Prabhat Sharma. The project aims to simplify the process of launching local servers, especially in the context of microservices-based applications. With its easy-to-use interface, it allows developers to quickly set up a server, which can save a lot of time during application development. Zinc also supports various protocols, making it a more flexible solution for different use cases. Its architecture is designed to be modular, which facilitates customization to meet users' specific needs and integration with other technologies. Furthermore, it promotes support for CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing), offering more freedom in building web applications that need to interact with multiple data sources.
